Meet Sassa's band

Sassa has no standing band, but instead several musicians. Before each gog, they will be handpicked. On this site we´ll introduce some of them to you. Bandmaster Julien Fabre, is however the core.


Julien Fabre, bandmaster

Biography:
He was a pro musicican in France for fifteen years and a freelance guitarist touring/recording with several charts cover bands, rock/hard rock cover bands, a couple of french 80/90´s stars among other things.
Was a member of Nefesh, a fusion/metalband from south of France and got into producing and mixing in 2001.
Intensively touring for three years doing at least 130 shows all over France, playing with bands like F.F.F., Ron Thal (now playing with Guns N’ Roses), The Gathering and Mass Hysteria, to mention just a few.
Had a band of his own, Black Candy Store and recorded an album which he produced/mixed and mastering done by Dave Collins (Soundgarden, Ben Harper, Alice Cooper…).
With the band he also toured in Tunisia, Luxembourg and had a cool tour in England including mythical Borderline Soho, London.
Got a job with renown country singer which changed his life in terms of how he percieved music during the tour with her for 18 months.
Julien was also sound engineer for Adagio and completed several tour with these guys.
He continued to work as a soundguy for a couple of years, but felt the needed a big change. It was time to move and reach new horizons and here he is now, playing with Sassa.

Nicholas ”Humlan” Podolski

Biography:
Nico released an album together with Brainchild in 2013 and is now playing drums with Man Machine Industry, touring together with Raubtiers during 2014.


David ”Kraken” Wiltz

Biography:
David is a soundtechnician, but also writes songs in different projects. Jump in as session bassplayer now and then in different bands.
